Failure with Intent

Failure with Intent

Some outcomes can only result in a win or a loss. A draw is considered either or, based on the situations.

That win is cherished and celebrated. The opposite of that happens with a loss.

That loss is also criticized by others, causing more unrest than usual.

But, even with a loss, the intent with how the loss came to be matters even more.

Did you give it your all, your 100% and then lost? If you failed with that intent, then there are only lessons to be learnt from it and no form of disappointment needs to take place.

But, if you thought failure was already on the cards, if the intent to win wasn’t there, if your 100% wasn’t given, then even with a win, that is a failure.

Know it or Understand it?

Know it or Understand it?

Sometimes you know something. Sometimes you understand it too. Sometimes both. Sometimes neither.

But, a clear line needs to be drawn. A line of clarity.

The knowledge of this line helps you to become better at something. This line is what makes someone an expert.
